Please please buy from your local bookshop, Amazon had it all during lockdown so they're in far better shape than the little guys. It would be wonderful if all authors would do all they could to promote and support bookshops on the High Street. You don't see Amazon involved in book festivals during which many small independent bookshops promote an author's latest book (or their back list).
Or can be ordered from other independent bookshops too. I'm sure that they would appreciate the support this year. #choosebookshops
Lovely cover - reminds me somehow of the covers for the short stories by PD James :)

I've just read page 77 of " Out of Bounds" and feel rather angry. You appear to be mocking Julian Assange's asylum in the Ecuadorian embassy; I could be wrong. It bothers me immensely that you could do this given that our MSM is now neutered and we have to make an effort to search ourselves for the truth. Investigative journalism is now hard to accomplish. This is all before the issue of justice and torture is mentioned. I watched you on a BBCQT and liked most of your answers, which inspired me to try your novels, but it is worrying that you think persecuting a journalist for showing the US's war crimes is something to mock. BTW, I'm really enjoying your novels very much. ... See MoreSee Less
